2nd year fishing the classic and had a good time again. This year I caught a slam, but unfortunately did not compete for top prizes. I will defintely be back next year. We Lowcountry people need to organize an event like this if possible. I also would like to be a member of the new LKA but live outside of Charleston and making it to a lot of meetings will be impossible. What do you guys think we need to do to organize an event like the Classic?
Hi Steve…congrats on the slam! I caught mostly crevalle jacks on Friday, and Saturday was all trout…the one red I hooked broke me off during a run, and zero flounder.
We’d like to eventually start an annual club tournament, but that is down the road - we’re still organizing. You’d still be able to join and compete in the Angler of the Year the club will hold for the members.
