The guys name is Cliff or Cliffton!! Just a local gut!! Great guy Great time caught Blackfin and he took us to boobie key(island) and cooked them!! Went spearfishing and snorkeling!! He was 60 bucks an hour but would go anywhere and do anything!! Def a great time and great place!! I will look for his number he has a small boat, Its not a sporty or anything but he knows his stuff!!

I spend a lot of time in Jamaica for work. Definitly find a good local to take you out and you will have a good time. Just a heads up, most locals joke about “taking people fishing” like we talk about “concrete shoes”. It is definitly a joke, but so you have some local knowledge. Better fishing in Mobay, but Negril has some decent offshore possiblities. Fuel is expensive ($6 per gallon), but hourly rates are cheap based on “labor” cost. You can get a good boat to take you out for about $80 per hour and some will even knock down the price if they can keep the catch. I will be there from the 9th to the 20th if you want to join up for a trip, but I think I will be in Mobay.
This is the guys number I was talking about, Clifton 1876-4654889 Hes a great guy and will take you where ever you want fishing, Snorkeling, spearfishing, diving, sight seeing etc… Just give him a call and he will pick you up where ever you need him too!!! Hope this helps we caught a bunch of blackfin tuna with him!!! He will also cook it for you! Good luck!
