Thinking about trying to camp and canoe/fish out of the campground. Has anyone tried this area??? Is it a waste of time?? Going to be there 5/29-30 if anyone wants to join in. Thanks
The campground is located withing 5 minutes of my house. I routinly catch bass in the pond. There is also bream and catfish in the pond.
Is there access to the creeks from the campground??? I’d like to throw some flies at some reds. At least I could scare them towards you guys…Thanks
They do have acces to the creeks and the icw. Have not cought any fish out of there but I have paddled it there is a fishing dock that is down on the creek that is also a good place to launch from. That is my favorite camp ground in the state. I will be down there 6-5 to 6-14. I also like to go out to folly and hit the pier at night for some sharks. I have caught a bunch of bream in the little lake there fishing gight across from the dog park, you can also put the yak in it.
