I miss fishing for blue gill and don’t want to drive too far. Anyone know of some good ponds on James Island I could catch some bluegill? I already know of the James Island Park. Thanks!

Lol, from your question Im guessing you don’t think that’s a good idea? But it was my intention.
All the ponds on JI that I fish, and that I have fished are in neighborhoods. They have fertilizer and chemical runoff affecting the water quality and fish. Best bet on JI for safe eating fish is the JICP. Fish early and late away from crowds.

JICP’s pond is downhill from the biggest dog toilet in 100 miles. I would not advise eating fish out of that pond.
