Jeff called and informed me the Red Grouper were opening Jan 1. That was Sun Dec 28. He told me if I could leave Mon we could dive Tue to scout.This was after two Days diving with Realfish01. Loaded up my gear and pulled out at noon Mon, wonderful Fla traffic and pulled in the drive at 10:30 that night. Up at 05:30 and loaded the boat with Mangroves and found a few Reds. Weather kept us on the hill Wed but Wed was the day! Takes a dedicated diver to tell his wife he cant go out New years night because he can’t drink the night before diving! (He’s got a great wife)Loaded the boat with our limits and had a great day with the water @ 70deg and 40’viz. They have no current there!
