Great job to the winners! Or team had a good day, we just needed that kicker fish. That fog was killer this morning. We made 3-4 circles before going the right way. Woody and I got a 10 lbs 15 oz fish yesterday that we could’ve used today.
Yep. I try not to fish the Friday before a tournament. For me, Friday hero=Saturday zero:) Y’all did well today. The top 6 from last year finished in the top 7 in today’s tournament . It was a nice day on the water. Congrats to my good friends aboard the “Pittcrew!!”
We got a little turned around in the thick fog this morning as well. For some reason my GPS does not lock on the satelites very quickly…I had to resort to my Navionics iPhone app to bail me out! We came up a little short today but had an awesome day on the lake. Can’t remember to many days where reels, and boat were iced up in the morning and by early afternoon wearing t-shirts! Congrats to Billy and the Pittcrew. We fished pretty close today but they got the big’un .

Alot of very similar sized fish biting right now considering the difference between 2nd and 10th was exactly 3 lbs.
Went back out on Sunday and tried different spots than where I fished on Saturday. Caught almost the exact same number of fish and I promise that if I had to weigh my biggest 4 on Sunday, they wouldve weighed within 1 lb of what I weighed on Saturday. Just alot of similar sized fish out there being caught.
10 lbs and 15 ounces…she hit a gizzard shad on a planer board…we caught that one and three other keepers in about 20 mins pre-fishing Friday for the tournament and we bolted out of there quick… lol
I’ve spent about 85% of my life’s wages on fishing, the rest I just wasted…
haha… you might know it…I will say that I know another spot that looks just like this one though…so yes, its one or the other…if you think I am facing a bridge in the picture though, you are wrong…lol Team Landlocked is too busy with 15 lb plus fish to chase these anyway

lol! Woody…my sense tells me I am right. I’ll take the bait and venture to tell you that you are facing a powerline (that oh by the way is lined with Buzzards early in the morning) and if were to look to your hard left slightly over your shoulder you might see the bridge…[:0] Let me know how close I am now…

You guys are off by about a mile. Gary fished close to those Guys on Friday. We finished up in there Saturday. Don’t worry Shad-Up and Fish. We don’t fish and tell:smiley:
This is an awesome back-and-forth! Maybe we should have a monthly contest called “Name that Honey Hole”. We could do prizes and everything. Tommy, you may be on to something.
This also looks like a point in the Bush River as well as that cove out in front of the Boy Scout camp.
