Im not fishing it but I’ll be MC’ing again this year. Probably take the kayak down and do some pre-fishing though.

My brother- in law and I will be fishing in it. He lives in Jacksonville and knows some of the spots, so that’s a big plus. hope to see some of you down there.

I haven’t decided yet. I boycotted it last year for personal reasons.

I hope you’ll go this year! We need a “Team Charleston” showing! We should get some T-shirts made up or something!
I moved here from Jax so if anyone needs help with the area Im glad to help. Just tell me about all of your secret spots here and we’ll call it even! Just joking about that, Im happy to give any info I can.

I’m planning on fishing it with a friend who has family in Jax. Registration is $15 cheaper ($75 vs $90) if you do so before March 18th. Is everyone staying with friends or renting a hotel? Might be able to get a group rate.
If two wrongs don’t make a right, try three.
BTW, The IFA kayak tour is in Jax on April 28th. Stay a week and fish both.

I will not be going to this event. I am still not going to participate in it and will be going to the Meals on Wheels Tournament in Crawfordville, FL that same weekend. Beyond my personal/team reasons for not fishing that event if you have not done it you should give it a shot. It is massive and the captains meeting is a blast.
The captains meeting and night of the tourney raffles are worth the trip and entry fee alone, not to mention the capt bag. It is a great tourney and a lot of fun. My then 10yrd son got 4th last year in the trout division so like any tourney you never know when you may place.
Lost@sea and toobusy, are these personal reasons of talks anything the participants should be concerned about? Haha. Good luck to team Charleston though!

Nope. Go and have fun. It’s a personal issue with the event organizer.

Come on! You’ve got to give us the story, now.
All right who all is going , we are going to make it after all. We need to get us a team charleston table at the captains meeting and awards. We are going to go down Wednesday night or Thursday morning. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up.
