How did the local crew do? Hope everyone was safe. I was just reading about the tourney and they had a real bad storm blow through in the early afternoon, with some rescues involved.

Lost@Sea got 7th place in trout. I’m not sure how 5151 and Zach did. I didn’t make the top 10 with a 20" trout.
Lost@Sea and I got caught in the storm just as we reached the most productive section of Guana Lake. Instead of fishing we dropped rods down on deck to keep a low profile in the INSANE lightning. We paddled to the landing in blinding rain, hail, lightning, and a 30-40 mph headwind.

Me and Zach caught lots of fish just not anything worth turning in. Like Tommy said we also found some nice tailers as the mini hurricane was fast approaching and luckly Zach talked in me into leaving. By the time we got back to the ramp he had to hold the bow of the kayaks down as I strapped them to the roof rack. All in all we had a great time.
