Jax Trout 8/22

While on business in Jacksonville, after work I went down to the marina at Beach Blvd and chunked a Spook Jr. Caught this little trout - check out the size and definition of the spots. Different than in Charleston, but very pretty…

are you saying that the spots are different on this fish than one caught in charleston?

Nice, and you were using the “Ralph Phillips Special”. Ralph is the 2nd best fisherman in his family.

Now that’s funny. I have fished with Danny and am not gonna deny

yup…pretty much everything i catch here is that way for me! definately nice color on that trout

Man, I need to go on a “business” trip! Nice fish.

Optiker- Was there a restuarant named Gipper’s or something like that there? If so, I was out there last thursday morning also on a “business” trip and fishing before work. I fished the other side of the road where there were some pilings sticking up out of the water. I didn’t catch anything there using a DOA shrimp under a cork.

Matt yep that’s the place. I have tried over there once with no luck either but it looked fishy. I have caught a trout on the ICW at the end of the marina parking lot also on topwater. Also some strikes on high water from the bridge over the creek.
