Ran out to a Kiawah reef this morning. Nice day.
Did not find any jelly balls. NONE.
Where are they?
although I haven’t been out in a few weeks, I usually find most of them just off the beach about 200 yards from the surf. Normally find far more off the beach then I do at the reef. Hope this helps.

They are thick in May, pretty much gone by now.
I usually freeze a few when they are plentiful.
But, fresh peeled shrimp works wonders too

They’ve been around Stono inlet and folly beach on high tide, but not thick.if you can find the cleaner water patches they are easier to find and seem to stay with that water.
