Hey guys/gals - I know it’s CHARLESTON fishing.com but I thought I’d take a shot. I’m heading down with the family to spend 4 days with my sister-in-law and her kids. It’s not as bad as it sounds…they have two brakish water ponds in their front yard and a dock on the Jerico River across the street. Up river from Buttermilk Sound and probably a couple clicks to I-95. They have a nice grass flat across the river from them too. I plan on having fun exploring in my canoe with the boys in their kayaks and our fishing poles. Just wondering if anyone has any good intel on this section of river. Thanks in advance.
The Jerico is a pretty river. I would expect redfish, trout, flounder and if you head out towards the sound, whiting.
