Jettie fishing tips

I recently got a bigger boat and will be going to the jetties on the days that I can. Any tips on gear or spots or target fish would be great. My first trip out was more of a cruise by boat test then fishing trip and now that I am comfortable with going and what to take my boat out in I plan to have a real fishing trip. So far I plan to fish about 30 ft from rocks with a bottom rig about 3 ft of bottom with fresh crab, mullet or menhaden fresh cut pieces, a live bait rig, and popping cork with live bait as close to the rocks as I can get it. Anything that is useful will be appreciated and tried so please comment. Will do a picture post after the trip. So far going for big reds and sheep-head.

Split shot rig and a 1/0 owner mosquito hook against the rocks with fiddlers for sheepshead. A light carolina rig with live bait a little deeper for reds trout abd flounder. I think a popping cork could work well out there but everytime i go out it’s for sheepshead. Do a site search for the proper anchoring techniques

Thanks for the tip and if anyone has any safety tips, or tips on which side of Jetties to fish and tides to fish would be great.
