Jetties

I know its not hard to catch sharks out at the jetties but can you catch then just about anywhere? I remember I went out a few years back and we had a great time catching 4 to 5 ft BT’s. Just wanted to do it again, but didnt know about live bait, cut bait, balloon fishing or Carolina rig. I have also heard the there are more sharks towards the channel rather than next to the rocks? Any advise would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I have caught them with a carolina rig on the bottom, Live or cut bait will work. I always fished the out side rocks. Hope this helps.

we love to catch the sharks, lot of fun to get one on the boat, we catch them mainly in the summer using a carolina rig with live bait, shrimp or mullet, it is my understanding that the sharks like the warmer water temps and now that the temps are droppin the sharks head south, i could be wrong though that has happened once before
