I left around noon yesterday to fish the jetties. My favorite spot, dynamite hole was barely fishable. It was very very rough. We decided to go fish the inside of the South jetty in calmer seas. Undersized black sea bass on about every cast. Not a single sheepshead although the fiddlers I was using were frozen leftovers from a previous trip. I caught one keeper bsb on a fiddler and we tried trolling for spanish after that. No luck trolling the channel for spanish. We moved to the castle for some sharks and caught a ton over there. The only problem was they were all babys. Nothing with any size. Overall it was a beautiful day out on the water and a fun time with friends.
Does anybody have any experience fishing around the castle for sharks? We really wanted some larger ones which we usually get at dynamite hole easily. The castle was foreign to us and we were not sure where to fish around it, I know a lot of guys have luck over there. Any suggestions?
