Put in at Shem Creek about 10 am. Practiced throwing the cast net just outside of the creek and managed to pick up a few dozen finger mullet. Headed to the grillage. anchored for a bit with no bites so moved over next to the North jettty. 1 bluefish on a freelined finger mullet. moved farther out on the north jetty and anchored again. caught 15-20 BSB’s 4-12" on cut finger mullet on the bottom. also 1 rock sea bass and a good size whiting. couldnt get any reds or sharks to bite on the cut bluefish. pulled anchor and head back in around 3.
