Jetty Reds

Fished the triple top secret tip of the north jetty saturday.

Anchored up about 2 hrs before low tide.

Fished til the tide went slack and ended up with 4 nice reds and 3 spanish.

All reds were caught on menhaden and the spanish were on gotchas and crystal minnows.

Nice day on the water.

This fish hit within first 5 minutes the baits were in the water.

Where is the fish in the second picture?

The fish in the second pic. was very cool. And, I thought it was a creative way to disguise your secret location. Where did it go? That said, glad you were able to get out and catch some fish. Thanks for the report.

Congrats on the fish, how big were the spanish?

fish nude so u can show off ur pole…

Always wanted to fish the Jetty’s but didnt have the boat for it. Now that I do what are the dangers of anchoring? Do you need a reef type anchor or will the old danforth work??

A wise man once said “Do as I say not as I do” Good advice when I tell you that.

spanish were not monsters about avg size. 2-3 lbs maybe?
