I recently fished James Island Creek and had a very hard time locating the channel navigational markers to line up my entry. Does anyone know who manages these markers? Would there be any benefit in replacing them with something easier to see (like the ones at Shem Creek)?
Are you talking about the 2 pvc poles? The “bubba markers” are exactly that, some bubba rigged those. Seriously seriously seriously doubt money would be spent to put a proper range up for JI creek.
yes, bubba is responsible for maintaining the nav markers into ji creek. next time i see him, i’ll tell him to put out some channel markers for you.
maybe he’ll get the channel dredged too.
