Does anyone jig for these fish? If so, what kind of Jig would you use? I’ve read where this is fairly common but havent seen much on this topic around here.
Caught plenty of kings and a few wahoo on the shimano butterfly jigs. Never caught them blind jigging though. If they see it they will eat it usually. They sometimes show up within site while bottom fishing and you just have to be ready. Just make sure you have some steel leader there.
Both of those species will eat almost any type of jig. Key is getting around them…
