The mailers have started to go out. Applications will be available soon at Hanckel, Piggly Wiggly and area Tackle Shops. The JIYC online link will be updated shortly.

And Yes: Lowcountryfishscales will cover the event.

Clinton…if we enter early, if we have to bck out for whatever reaso…can we get a refund

From the rules:

  1. This is a one day fishing tournament. If the National Weather Service has issued any small craft advisory by their 5 am update for June 26, the
    tournament will be postponed to Sunday, June 27. Again on Sunday, at 5 am, if any small craft advisory is in effect, the tournament will be canceled.
    It is the sole discretion of the captain to allow his vessel to fish. All captains and/or owners are responsible for their vessel and crew.
  2. In the event the tournament is cancelled, all entry fees less $44 per boat will be returned by check, via mail, within 30 days.

Our refund policy is dictated by the tournament being fished or cancelled. We can’t be responsible for the decision not to fish that is made by the boat captain. My suggestion would be to wait until the registration deadline if there is any concern for being able to go or not.
