Going to be heading up to Lake Jocassee in the middle of October and need some help. Will the trout and bass be biting or should I push the trip off for later in the year or next spring?

It ought to be a beautiful time to go and the best time to go is when you can…don’t put it off. Sure the spring might see shallower fish, but I wouldn’t put it off. Just be prepared to fish a little deeper.
Deep trolling points where the creeks meet the lake are the go to spots. If You mark bait work the bait.
