Just wondering if anyone has any comments on this from a fishermans perspective.
To me it seems like the u-turn idea would hinder those pulling boats/trailers, though it?s hard to tell just how big the u-turn area would be.

They are trying to rebuild the 17 and Main St intersection just down the street from Limehouse Boat Landing.
The U-turns look big enough. Remember they will have to designed to accomodate tractor trailers. I do not have much an issue with the intersection now except mid day weekend traffic seriously backs up Main Rd. The barriers that were installed to keep the traffic from the side streets from crossing traffic close to the intersection on the Johns Island side have helped a lot.
