My 1993 250 Johnson takes about 2 minutes to plane out once it planes out she runs like a champ once you stop and go again same thing any suggestions
Did it just start? Have you checked for water in the bilge! Prop slipping? Trim not working?
It started around February I changed the fuel filter spark plugs and have ran a gallon of seafoam through the tank the trim works fine
If she is fuel starved and you keep running her, you are running her lean. This can starve motor internals of lubrication and tear things up. Get it right before asking the motor to push the boat.
I’m no expert.
