Johnson mechanic recommendations?

I just bought a 15’ Lowe with a 1997 Johnson 25 2-Stroke from a buddy. I am looking for recommendations on a good Johnson mechanic (I have only had Yamaha before) in the Mt. P area? The motor starts and runs and will get me out fishing, but it needs a little help with the throttle/shift linkage and timing I believe.

Any help is appreciated!

Seel’s in West Ashley has always worked on my evinrudes&johnsons and always do a great job. They will always call you and give ya an idea of how much the total will be after they have diagnosed your problem.

Thanks! I actually live near the Seels in Mt. P…im guessing they should be just as good as the West Ashley Seel right? Anyone ever use Whitton Marine off 41?

I’ve used Whitton’s for 20 years. Great service. Have worked on friends Johnson for a dozen or so years
