I have noticed when I park the boat the tilt bleeds down by itself. Yesterday when running the boat under power it bleeds down fairly rapidly. 2005 4 stroke. Anyone know if there is a check valve that can be replaced or any experience with these?
there is a manual release screw that will sometimes leak, its on the side of the trim unit, right at the water line
if its not that, its probably the internal valving and will need to be taken apart, cleaned and rebuilt
