I finally finished my jon boat restoration project and am now just waiting on DNR to get my paperwork straightened out. Just thought I would share the before and after pics. My wife said I put too much time into it but, I do love a project and had a lot of fun with it.
These are obviously the BEFORE.
The DURING.
And the AFTER
I used a non-skid called Kiwi-grip. It went on real easy and is very non-skid. Only time will tell how it holds up but it had a lot of good reviews on several sailing/boating websites so I thought I would try it.
Oh yeah, I am also looking for a new/used galvanized trailer for it if anyone has one.

I used a Sea Bowld Topgloss Polyurethane Enamel that I bought for $5.00 a quart when Boaters World went out of business. I rolled it on with a small foam roller. The price is why I went with tan.
I have a 1986 Mariner 15 with less than 30 hours on it that is up and running. Thanks for all the kind words, it was a fun project. Still looking for a galvanized trailer for it.
