Axle finally gave way. Went to Seel’s and they do not have an axle the size I need. I am measuring around 56" but it is bent. Does anyone have a jon boat trailer they would like to get rid of, or have a suggestion of where to find an axle? Seel’s and West Marine’s catalog do not show an axle my size. 14’ Jon Boat w/ 25 Yamaha, wife’s grandfather’s boat and I restored trailer and transom of boat. My son wanted to go kneeboarding and I am missing my fish and shrimp. Generally go out 1 - 2 times a week and Bro in Law is a firefighter and he goes out 1 - 2 times a week. Stranded!!!

If they don’t have the exact size you want, buy the blank axle and then buy the spindles and make your own.

Tommy Stone at the Trailer Shop [748 King Street Mt. Pleasant (843) 971-7606] will BUILD you a better axle than you can buy and probably for less than you can buy one.
