July 4th - our night out.... geez!

Just FYI, I went out of Patriots Point this past Friday. First, they would not let me past the circle to drop of a lot of stuff for the boat (friend’s, not mine) and also had to park way out. We had to walk all that stuff down to the marina. That was 4 pm!

The fireworks were awesome! We were docked near the PP Marina.

We had much less to carry back (imagine that) and got to the jeep… 1 hour and 40 minutes later, we were able to move up 10 ft. Another 20 mins and we were finally heading to the exit, at about 11:15 pm.

SO! Don’t go to Patriot’s Point for July 4th. Just don’t do it. Oh, we had the option to stay at Folly Beach… the traffic was bumper to bumper on Folly Rd leaving the beach at 11:30 pm.

Just sayin… geez.

We were going to take my brother in laws boat out. When it wouldn’t start we had to make a last minute plan. So, we headed to Folly. Got to Folly at 6PM. Parked on the street in front of Taco Boy. After a few tacos and margaritas we took the girls to run on the beach. At sun set got a seat on the pear and watched the show. With 2 three year olds it was a lot of fun. Made a big illegal u-turn on center street after the show and made it home by about 10:45. It was a great time and really easy. The fuzz did a good job keeping the traffic going. Both lanes on folly rd were leaving the beach. Traffic was stacked up trying to get out to the beach pretty bad.

Karma is 360 degrees

Some got to win, some got to lose…

We stayed at a house on Sullivans Island, watched the fireworks to the south then turned around and watched IOP put o a heck of a show. When that was over we walked inside.
