There are many times when the fish don’t bite that it seems to make since but very rarely do the fish bite when things seem to be working against you. We had to contend with July 4th boats, jet skis, dirty water, excessive heat, and even dolphin covering up our holes. Just a couple of these things can make fishing difficult but the reds didn’t seem to care. I love it when plans come together.

Very nice! Now I will ask my stupid question. Did you kayak to a spot and then fish off land? Just wondering. There are times I could stand to get out and stretch my legs but usually where I go there is no place really to get out. I am still figuring out the whole fishing thing from a yak.
