I awoke early yesterday am. saw the storm track on TV and took off to Edisto. Upon ariving I battened down the Bertram, tied down the johnboat to a tree hooked up the wailer and came back to the upstate.
Years ago I waited till the last moment and it took me 17 hrs. to make the 3 hr trip.Try towing an 11 1/2 wide boat in bumper to bumper traffic with nat guard directing traffic, never again! years ago I worked in Ala and the people down there would fill there boats with water before leaving.Thank God the track has been updated to the east!
