We took a group of old/new friends from the Clemson area today. With the rain storms offshore, I couldn’t find an easy way out, so we ran about a 160 off the A can toward the Deli but could only make 18 kts. With the slow and bumpy ride, we stopped in 100’ just shy of the Sowpen and put lines out. The dolphin/barracuda bite was steady all day, and the weather cleared to a perfect ocean. We fished from 100 to 300 feet.
Ended the day with 11 dolphin, four or five barracuda and a sailfish. Congratulations to Tyler on his first billfish.
