Coming to Charleston this weekend for my daughters wedding - reception on Saturday evening beginning at 5:00 pm at a residence up in Molasses Creek. She wants to take the boat from Remley Point landing to the house – can I get a small 1720 Key West a good ways up the creek around 5:15 p.m.?
Also, where is a good place or storage facility to park the boat and trailer overnight? for a couple of days (Wed night thought Sat night)

5:15 will be a little after mid-tide, closer to high. How far up Molasses Creek? I’ve been in some fairly skinny stuff in a 1720, but I’m guessing that creek gets pretty dry towards the end.
My suggestion is to try it earlier in the week at a similar tide (check the bottom of this page for tide times and height http://old.charlestonfishing.com/weather.asp). That way if you do have an issue, it’s not with your daughter in the boat!
