Put together a new crew and had everyone bring 150 lbs of ice + 100 lbs that I brought (550 lbs). They joked about the amount of ice I wanted. They found out why.
Passed thru the jetties around 6 am and met a beautiful ocean.

Wow, what an awesome day. I never understood the allure of offshore fishing until I finally got to go a month or so ago. Now I get it and seeing all the great catches lately makes it even more obvious.
