My opinion probably don’t count for much. First of all I think whoever owns this site is a fool… Almost every thread on this site gets overrun with a bunch of bull **** & arguing no matter what topic it is. Off topic has basically become political thread. Admin needs to push that $%##@ back down to the political thread… No one wants to come on here & read someone threatening to stick a cane up somebody’s ass making him a popsicle… Wishing someone to die of covid because of different political beliefs.
Talking s*** about somebody’s wife having tattoos… this site pretty much needs to call hospice… If the administrators had any sense they would clean this place up maybe get a couple moderators. Go out to the boat landings /tackle shops and post signs try to recruit some new blood in here maybe get some of the old folks back. Off topic used to be one of my favorite threads. Gardens, trains, old trucks… Now it’s just a big pissing contest over covid…
I belong to a group (Harley-Davidson flea market) buy, sell ,trade ask questions. In just a little over 2 years it has grown to over 150,000 members. Nationwide.There’s several other similar groups but they have a fraction of the members. Why because flea market tolerate no bull ■■■■.
Oh yeah and thay do a lot of things for special needs children disabled vets and fallen bikers… I see MAD is coming up anyone participating?

I’ve met a few great people from here on the site. Have fished with a couple from here. And have plans on meeting up with a couple more when time allows it and I get back to the beach. Talking about that waiting on shrimp tags… I’ll be ready when you are.
I guess meeting somebody in pre-op waiting to get camera run up your a$$ counts also. Haha

Don’t give up yet guys. I have it on good authority that some changes will be made soon, maybe as soon as early next week.
Admin told us before that changes were coming, well, hopefully during the Zoom meeting next week we can find out what’s up.

A group of folks here have been posting about the miserable conditions on CF for a long time.
So far, nothing has been done to improve them; and, quite frankly, I doubt that anything ever will
be done.
Yapping, blabbing, insults, cursing continue unabated. No action to control then has been taken.
I’m more of a beer drinker nowadays. But if someone’s passing a bottle or jar around I won’t pass up a good pull. One of my cousins get some real good smoooooooth shine from somewhere in North Carolina…

This once was a great place to learn from others, pick up tips, meet great folks, trade information and just kill some time yakking with like-minded folks. A few complete tools who seem to be bent on ruining the site have been allowed to act like children and pollute the place. Why a small handful of malcontents and jackasses have been allowed to do this I don’t know.
I can’t imagine why someone would buy a website and let it go to sh*t. The site itself is far from user friendly (more than half the time I can’t even start a new thread) and just is not as fun and easy to use as it use to be. I really do hope some improvements are coming. Some really good people have left and they are missed. Some others could leave and would not be missed.
