Just One More 4/21

Joined the rest of the fleet at the GTH. Sort of wished I had gone to the Scarp.

It was slow. I stayed away from the main body of boats. Found some decent temp breaks and some weed lines that would have been great if the weatherman had told the truth about less than 10’ and 2’ seas, but as it was, they were blown apart pretty good.

Final result: One nice wahoo and one teeny blackfin. Caught some nice seabass on the way in.

Back at it soon.

Don, nice to see you at least got to go. I can’t wait to join in the fun. We are putting a new tower and top on the Painkiller, and believe it or not, it’s taken longer than they promised? We should be ready to roll by 1st weekend in may. We are already talking up the Tred Barta w/ our club in Flo. Good luck and hopr you get to go back soon. Bryant

hey don, I know what you mean about teeny blackfin…

Did you hit those Scamp spots of yours? Are you still doing charters? If so, we need to talk. Hope y’all are doing well.

Put another log on the fire…

Cracker,

No scamp this time. I didn’t have Ryan to do the magic jig on them.
Yeah, I’m doing charters. Got a bunch in May but still some openings.

I don’t remember my phone ringing on Sunday…

Wouldn’t have mattered, though… I crashed out of a bike race in Charleston on Sunday and am pretty much covered in road rash. We’re shooting for Sunday if the Wx holds… anybody else heading out there?

Ryan
