Just One More 5/6

Well, the “going to less than 10kt var” never happened offshore, as I am home and it is STILL NE at Edisto bouy.

One of these days I will go Belushi on the weather man “Neidemier: DEAD. Dean Wormer: DEAD. Weatherman: DEAD.”

For once, there were only 4 boats that I could see at the GT hole: us, Sea Note, Fishaholic and a yellow center console.

Had a great group from Columbia who had a blast.

Picked away at the dolphin. Ended up with 10. The daymaker was a Mako about 5 feet long. We thought we had a wahoo until he jumped like a ballarina. We ended up releasing him.

Back at it again tomorrow.

Nice work, Don. Would have loved to see that Mako go airborn.

Weatherman definately blew it as I’m covered in salt and have the white knuckles to prove it. At least we had the Hole all to ourselves.

Ended up with 18 phins, 1 wahoo, and a couple kings. Cleaned the wahoo and found my bleeding dolphin squitch, that he bit off prior to getting hooked up, in his stomach.

Good talkin to ya out there and best of luck tomorrow

It WAS nice to have a friendly voice offshore, it always is. Glad you made it in OK. I think I’ll go north tomorrow. There I go leaving fish to find fish again!

Great job! Love to hear it when someone actually releases one.
