Terrafin says “go north” so we do. Water at the Scarp was 77-78. Flyers everywhere. Steady action on a beautiful ocean. Good thing it was calm as the charter had stayed up until 3:30 arguing about who would catch the biggest fish and who would eat the fish’s eyeball. Nobody sick though and all had a great time.
Lost a lot of fish on cutoffs and threw back a bunch of little tunny and cudas, but kept:
5 dolphin - all gaffers but none really big
4 wahoo - 15-30#
1 1/2 blackfin - the first one quit pulling so hard when something ate its tail.
One rookie ate an eyeball and didn’t puke. Beautiful!
