Get you some shrimp off the boat…

Boil water with a lil bit o’salt
Lower basket of deheaded shrimp into boiling water
Let water start to boil again, then turn off burner
Wait 3 minutes, then dowse shrimps in cool water…
PEEL AND EAT w/ some spicy cocktail sauce!

Got to admit…them shrimp off the boat are sure a lot better to boil than the ones I catch. Love a boiled shrimp, but I won’t eat the ones I catch over bait that way. TOO NASTY! Them over bait have to be peeled, de-veined, and washed before I’ll cook/eat them. That’s why I have to buy some and catch some. If they could still be sold for $1.50/lb, heads on, like we use to get. I would never bait again, but I understand the plight of those guys trying to make a living with it.

Life Is Good…Gotta Love It!!!
When they are fresh off the boat like that, I don’t even head them for boiling, boil with the heads on adds more flavor. And for the best flavor, boil them in sea water.
Your cooking method is perfect. Most people over cook shrimp.

A little white vinegar in the boil will make peeling them a snap.
