Just Released 4/22/15 & 5/3/15

4/22/15 (Late Post)

Fished 550 line in 450-600 feet of water and left Charleston right at 5AM. First trip of the year and was short on crew. Found great water and picked at the dolphin all day long. Kept lines in the water until 4PM. Found a tree floating side ways on a nice rip and continued to catch dolphin. Ended up going 15 for 20 on dolphin. Saw a blue marlin busting up small dolphin towards the end of the day which was a pretty cool sight. It felt good to get the rust off of our routine and put a few in the box.

5/3/2015

Left late around 545 and fished the 350 line in 700-900 feet of water. Beautiful ocean all day long. I don’t think I’ve seen that many boats fishing off Charleston in my life. The water we found was fantastic with good temp breaks, rips, and plenty of bait. There were 5 other boats working the same area with us. We picked at the dolphin all day long but nothing was steady action for us. Def slower than two weeks ago for us. We picked up lines early at 1 and headed home. Put go-pros on all of our dredges and on the ttop and got some great footage underwater. As soon as I figure out how to post some still shots, I will put them up. Looking forward to getting back out there ASAP.
