Fished the 350 line and started in 150 feet of water. Ocean was slick calm. Hooked a 40lb wahoo while dropping back the shotgun. Caught 3 dolphin and 3 cudas the rest of the day. Fished out to 400 feet, but didn’t go any deeper. Caught the fish all sporadically in between 150-400 ft. Picked up lines at 130 and went swimming before our ride home. Lost electronics before we started up to head back home and riding two hours with no tunes is tough! Had a great time on a beautiful ocean and can’t wait to get back out there again.

Water was dirty for us in 150 and in 100 really dirty. Sounds like you guys did pretty well.
We were happy to catch a few fish in a nice ocean. Needed to capitalize on a few other dolphin misses. Overall, I’m very happy with a nice wahoo and a handful of dolphin! Wish we could have seen something with a bill, but there’s always next time!

Nice report. Hopefully next weekend will be nice and my wife will let me sneak away. Always nice to catch a fish before all the lines are in the water.
