Fished the 450 line in 800-2000 feet of water. Haven’t seen the ocean that calm in quite a long time. Could have easily broken out the water skis in 2000 feet. Been hearing all the slow reports so we decided to go big or go home. Pulled all big plastics all day long. Fished a big rip that had almost a two degree break on either side. Lots of bait and looked really fishy. Pulled 4 dolphin off of it and that was it. All dolphin had good size to them and it was cool to see them attack those big lures. Saw a free jumping sailfish but no lookers at our spread. Hope to get back out there again soon.
