Just Released June 3

Got a bit of a late start and cleared the jetties around 530. Fished the 350 line and started in 220 ft of water. The ocean was much nicer than we expected and fished in between 220-450 ft of water until 1130. We caught 9 Dolphin and missed one other one at the boat. All dolphin were gaffers and had some good size to them. Decided to pull all lures the rest of the day and around 130 had a nice blue marlin bite on the left short. Hooked him up and settled in for the fight. He jumped 3 times and then sounded. Everything looked great until he started coming towards the boat fast! Don’t know what happened but the hook came unglued. Was a heartbreaker but seeing the bite was incredible. Beautiful ride back to Charleston. Can’t wait to go ASAP.
