Thats what this should be.

I know some of ya’ll are going out, maybe not catching much, but please report even the small catches. This might give some of us inspiration!

Mud and i tried a well-knowned flat friday with nothing to show for it and Sat went out in the motorboat with only 3 keeper trout and 1 flounder, everything else was u/s.

Caught a nice Bass the other day with a super spook, was pretty cool watching him chase it for about about five feet before he nailed it. Been tossing topwater plugs about 90% of the time, just like seeing the Bass rise up behind the plug and nail it.

Been so much bait in the water and the combination of the heat has made the fishing a bit slow. Walked a flat the other day and the water was so hot it was uncomfortable walking in it. Figure it was to hot to have any bass tailing.

I went out with ScottyD on Friday on the Wando and we saw 4 of the biggest tails I have EVER Seen… threw a lot of flies at them but they didn’t wanna eat… First time I have really seen a lot of tailing action… I hope this heat dies off a little bit…

I thought about getting on the yak this weekend, that was about it… just too hot to be much fun.

Went to the C-60 Saturday on a 21’Mako. Caught a bunch of undersize fish, fought a nice cobia that swallowed a ringtail, and watched a few big Cudas swim around the boat.

The extent of yesterday’s fishin stuff was snelling some hooks on 20# fluoro, tying a few chicken rigs, and making a pair of furled leaders.

Sounds better than my saturday… on another note… These are sales but I picked up Scotty rod holders at Dicks for $15.99 and a Scoty Triple bar at West Marine for… are ya sitting down… $28.99… get 'em while they are hot folks… If I had more cash I would have bought them all but I figured I’d share wiht ya’ll  nabbed a LOT of fish in the pond behind my house this weekend though… a bunch of good sized bream and a few keeper sized LM… bunches of fun… they were both tearin up Muddler Minnows…

I’d report, but I’m not doing much yak fishing up in Madison, wi. I do wonder why the heck is it just as hot here as it is in SC? I thought it was supposed to be cooler up here?

Maybe next weekend.

Went out in Broad River on Friday 6/19 right at Sunrise/High Tide starting to fall. Lots of bait and sharks. My only true source of fishing entertainment was a school of lady fish. That however only lasted for a short while. As always the wildlife put on a show for me, got to see flipper just hammering breakfast in shallow water. Very cool stuff. They are almost intimidating when they are feeding like that.
