Woke up early and decided to paddle a little bit, lots of bait only a few fish. Great day think I might do it again soon.

Loaded with shrimp right here, perfect for fishing, shallow though, my kayak was dragging the bottom

Found this guy, he was feasting on shrimp and got pulled up in the cast net also

No worries, I put him back maybe I can catch him in a few years haha

No bites at the first spot

This spot felt awful sheepie, caught a few pinfish but the bites felt like sheepshead, think I will go back with some fiddlers soon

Mr. Trout, caught him in another place I stopped

He was 14 on the dot, let him go to swim another day, maybe he can grow a few inches before someone eats him

Anchored up here and hooked into a drag sceamer, broke me off under the pylons, ate a live finger mullet

Looked down and noticed that my Battle handle had broken off sad day, can’t seem to find my reciept either, $12 at Haddrells it’s worth it

Callin’ it a day

Off to the house

Overall a great day, way better than sitting at home, look forward to doing it again soon, mayb

Is that sheep spot at the marina on the backside of Folly? I’ve seen sheeps there but never managed to catch any when I’ve tried for them. Keep me posted if you guys set up a day for that. If I’m free, I’ll go.

I actually stopped by there today to check it out while on my way to Folly. Ran into Hurricane701 just pulling his boat out. Looks like easy launch at mid tide or higher. Might be mucky if the tide is low.

I launch there too. Low tide you will get muddy, directly under the bridge the mud is more rocky so its not too bad. Don’t wear a white $40 shirt or anything.
