Before I spend lots of $ on a Hobie Pro Angler and a roof rack system, can anyone recommend a local kayak fishing guide? If guide gives good results and education, I will rush out and buy yak and rack.
THANKS!

If you want to experience Hobie fishing, look up Justin Carter…he fishes out of Pro Anglers.

Eric, check your messages.
What are you looking for out of a charter ??
Are you looking for fishing education or kayak education ??
Lewis has provided you good direction also.
experience noun \ik-#712;spir–#601;n(t)s
the fact or state of having been affected by or gained knowledge through direct observation or participation
that thing you get just moments after you needed it.
I first followed the link from Lewis. I could not use the facebook link as it requires login. I do not use facebook due to the privacy risks I learned about in 45+ years of IT work. I did not see any guide links on lowcountryanglers.com but will look again.
I am trying to get hands on experience kayak fishing before expensive purchase. I figure kayak can possibly extend my range without the heartache and expense of a motorboat and towing vehicle.

I don’t have any guides listed on our club’s website…but Justin would be one to talk to. He is guiding with DIG Charters now but also does kayak trips.
If you are over in the Mt Pleasant area, stop by Time Out Sports on Johnnie Dodds Blvd. They are a local Hobie dealer. Dave or John are good folks and can answer your questions.

I’ll give you a “Welcome to the Addiction” in advance…those who look into kayaks for fishing usually end up with one!
