Planning on renting a fishing kayak (time out sports) for a few days down at Isle of Palm. Looking for advice for novice such as best place to go out of, types of flies needed (tied some EP style minnows and clousers already).
Leased one for a 4 hour trip out of IOP marina last year and lost a really big red. Had a blast but out of my element. If anybody is heading out in the area and wants a fishing buddy. Let me know. I would be willing to trade some flies even.
