Kayak fishing

I am 13 years old for those who dont know. I have a tarpon 100 red sit on top kayak. I have the milk crate setup for fishing. I was looking to see if anyone wants to meet up at a boat landing and go yak fishing! Im not interested in a charter but would gladly pay some expenses for bait or so for 2 guys goin out fishin. I have all my gear (soft baits, hard baits, hooks, jigs, line, weights, rods and apparel, Im getting some waterproof pants soon so im good) I would be availble on saturday all day or sunday after 12, I fish the folly stono and upper stono maybe cooper. so any boat landings along their. I just get out and go fishing with some yakker who knows their stuff so i can learn and have a good time, maybe even catch somethin!

I have a 15 year old son and we just started yak fishing this year. I have had 2 of my best days this year fishing from a yak. Neither of us really has the clothing to cold water yak fish right now. I will definitely keep you in mind in the Spring and will gladly give you a holler when we are coming down. I am sure you will find someone that would be more than happy to go out with you. Good Luck!

YakMan, give me an email sometime if you want to fish. I live on John’s Island, and Kayak fish as much as I can. Won’t guarantee fish, but usually do pretty well. I am going tomorrow afternoon in the Kiawah river to scout some new water.

You might also want to try posting this in the kayak forum, as there are some real good guys and gals in that forum.
