Does anyone know of a map of kayak launch sites for the Charleston area? It would be great if it were a google map that could be zoomed in, annotated, etc.

there’s a bunch that aren’t on here but it’s better than nothing.
Thanks jt, I did find that one but I hadn’t realized there was a “view larger map” link. There are a lot that aren’t on there though and I probably already know of the ones that are. Probably the “secret” sites that individuals know about aren’t about to be posted on a public forum anyway…
Make sure the secret sites aren’t no trespassing.
There are a few places I use that aren’t on that map.

Years ago I launched from IOP marina. I assume they still allow kayaks to launch there. I don’t know if they charge. There’s Bowen’s Island too, which costs $2 to launch if Robert’s there. I’m not sure anyone cares (and I’m not sure he does) if he’s not there. Then there’s a few I’d rather not mention on a public forum…

Finally someone got some sense… I have seen areas and launches and the fishing destroyed in those spots because people blab about them on here and the next thing ya know every swing paddle is crowded in there or killin fish every time they go… it’s sad but true. If ya have a good spot to fish/launch keep it on a PM.
