Kayak Launch Near Mt. Pleasant Pier?

I am looking for a place near the Mt. Pleasant pier that I can launch my yak from. I saw on google earth that there is a boat landing about a mile north of the pier. Does anyone have any information about that landing?
Name of the Landing?
Is it open to the public?
Hours of Operation?
Fees?
Any better places around there to Launch the yak from?

I’m thinking your talking about Remley landing. It’s awesome, safe to leave vehicle and very close. There is many reds near the bank on the way there and sheeps under the pier.
An east wind and slower tide will make fishing easier.

Great ramp, fish all over. Free and not sketchy

It’s very nice place to launch, but if you cross the river, beware the tide. The last time I crossed the tide was ripping out to sea and I had a tough time (dicey) making it back across the currents.
