It took me lots of advice and 4 trips, but I finally got that first strike. He hit it like a freight train and fought me for a while. I’ve really got the fever now. Revived him and sent him back on his way.
Nice work! You’re in trouble now, there’s no going back. The addiction has begun.
Take care,

That fish is giving you the ‘stink eye’.
Good report.
Nice fish…! Did you catch this on the fly…?
Cool beans, that is something I want to add to my list of accomplishments…catch a fish from a yak. I don’t know if it is a whole lot different but, it seems like it would be cool fighting a fish a near water level.
wait till you get one that pulls you around. That’s some adrenaline right there

Nice video, that looks Too cool…pun intended.
Awesome! Just awesome!
I’m not a kayak fisherman…yet!..but I’m dying to get into a yak and get out there! I’m on the hunt for a yak and once funds become available, I will have one!! I can’t wait!!
Again, nice first catch in the yak!
Congrats!! Nice choice in kayaks
“The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad.” </font id=“size2”>
I didn’t catch him on the fly. My fly game is more like crappie poling, as most of my fly fishing has been in little streams chasing those small colorful smoky mountain natl park trout. I caught the red on a pin fish (piggy perch) under a popping cork right up against the grass. Wooooomph! …Right now I’m just ready to get this work week over so I can get back on the water for a chance to experience that again.
