Kayak question/advice

Hi guys. I will be moving down to James Island late summer. I have a Wilderness ride 135 fishing yak. Was going to sell it to save space in the container but now have second thoughts as the place we are moving to has a massive garage. I have an offer for 550 right now and on the one hand it seems selling is the right thing… save on transport cost… and pick up a second hand one down the road from Craigslist.

By selling I might save a few hundred on shipping costs.

What do you guys think? How often do these fishing yaks come up for sale? How do you guys feel about the ride vs other fishing yaks?
Or should I just keep the yak and pay a little more for shipping down to SC?

The Ride 135 is a great kayak…you’ll enjoy using it down here in Charleston.

Are you driving down? Why not strap it to the roof-rack and bring it with you?

I have a 135 and really like it. I’d keep it and get it down to Charleston. It is a great kayak for that area.

Agree, probably the most popular fishing kayak in the Charleston area. See more of them than any other yak. Speaks for itself.
